If you are in Kos of course you want to eat gyros, but in that case only the best.
For this there is only one address:
Avlogyros.
Good food at low prices!

Avlogyros is a small restaurant with gyros (pork and chicken) and all kinds of grill-dishes. They also have home-made pizza and pasta and you can get some meze.

Avlogyros is opened the whole year and especially in the evening there are a lot of Greek people at the terrace to enjoy the excellent gyros-plates.

It is also possible to take away a pita-gyros. Perfect if you arrive (hungry) in the middle of the night. They are open till 3 o’clock.

Every day they build-up the fresh gyros. During the season up till 125 kg a day!! Avlogyros is the only restaurant in Kos-town who does it by their own. (thanks to Max Steenbergen for the pictures)
